Located at Gandepalli Village in NTR District of Andhra Pradesh, India, Sentini Bio-Products (P) Ltd., is a mega industrial project that produces a large number of food-grade and industrial products from damaged agricultural commodities. This production facility is the first of its type in the state of Andhra Pradesh and is also one of the nation's very few grain-based alcohol production facilities.
The project's first phase began in June 2008, and commercial production started in March 2009. The plant features a 200 kilolitres per day (KLPD) ENA or Ethanol production capacity, a 120 MT animal feed supplement production capacity, and a 65 MT Carbon Di-Oxide production capability.
Further, the company is in the process of developing an additional 150 KLPD distillation capacity through its fully owned subsidiary, Sentini Bio-Spirit, to cater exclusively to the Government of India’s flagship Ethanol Blended Petrol (EBP) program which will reduce India’s dependence on fossil fuels.
